Obituary: Lynda Babb Borino, 72, of East Haven

Lynda Babb Borino,72, beloved wife of Thomas Borino of East Haven passed away June 15, 2023 in ARK Healthcare and Rehabilitation at Branford Hills. Loving mother of Nicole (Michael) Mesolella of Westerly, RI and Thomas (Shelia) Borino, Jr. of East Haven. Cherished grandmother of Evelyn and Michael Mesolella and Juliana Borino. Sister of the late Susan, Dorothy and Richard Babb. She also leaves her best friend Mary Patio Parker. Lynda was born in Devon, England on August 14, 1950 a daughter of the late Cyril and Evelyn Robinson Babb.

Prior to her retirement Lynda was a bank manager for the former New Haven Savings Bank for many years. Lynda was an accomplished artist and also volunteered at the East Haven Animal Shelter.

Her funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte 80) East Haven Tuesday at 12:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 12:30. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
