Maria (Monaldi) Truffa 96 of East Haven passed away peacefully on July 23, 2018 at CT Hospice. She was born May 13, 1922 in Italy to Antonio and Giuseppina (Capodagli) Monaldi. Maria is survived by two loving children, Frances Truffa (companion, Tony DiGioia) of East Haven and Fausto Truffa (Irene) of East Haven. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Mario Truffa (1989) and a brother, Giuseppe Monaldi.
Family will receive friends from 4 – 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home) 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven.
Her funeral procession will leave Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home on Friday, July 27 at 10:40 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Clare Catholic Church, 234 Coe Ave., East Haven with Committal to follow at All Saints Cemetery, North Haven.
