Marie Cosenza DiBenedetto-Lynch, 59, beloved wife of Brian T. Lynch of East Haven passed away May 27, 2023 in Yale New Haven Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Loving mother of Michael (Cheryl) DiBenedetto of North Branford, Theresa Iannotti and fiancé Justin Shanks of Middletown and stepmother of Victoria Lynch and partner Anthony Haywood of Hamden. Cherished grandmother of Gianni, Alessandra, Sophia, Julian, Anthony and Aubree. Sister of Robert DeLeon, Pasquale and Billy Cosenza. Marie was born in New Haven on May 6, 1964 a daughter of the late Pasquale and Adeline Orifice Cosenza.

At the time of her death Marie worked for the Kuehne Chemical Company of New Haven.

Friends may call FRIDAY from 5:00-8:00 PM at the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte 80) East Haven and are asked to go directly to the St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at St. Vincent DePaul Church on Saturday morning at 11:00 for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private.
