Obituary: Martin Carpentino Jr., 40, of East Haven

Martin Carpentino Jr, 40, passed away at home in East Haven on August 7th, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Lauren Ruggiero Carpentino.

Martin was born in East Haven on September 21st, 1982 to Linda and Martin Carpentino Sr. He was a carpenter, and tattoo artist, owning his own tattoo parlor Static Age Ink in North Branford. Martin was also a talented guitarist and singer.

In addition to his wife and parents, Martin is survived by his sons Samuel and Callisto; stepdaughter Stella Gargano; brothers Robert & Anthony; sisters Stephanie Carpentino and Jennifer Shea & Nicole Haywood. Marty is also survived by a large extended family including 9 nieces and nephews & many aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his grandparents Louis & Joseph Carpentino and Conrad LaCroix & Barbara Alarie.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit SUNDAY August 13th, 2023, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at East Haven Memorial Funeral Home, 425 Main Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Martin MONDAY August 14th at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Pompeii Church (St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish) 355 Foxon Road, East Haven. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
