Mary Louise (Steiner) Gandossy, 89, of East Haven passed away November 19, 2018. She was born March 31, 1929 in East Haven to Joseph and Mary (Balogh) Steiner. Mary Lou is survived by her three loving children, Bobby Gandossy of East Haven, Paul Gandossy (Pamela) of East Haven and Donna (Gandossy) Andreozzi of East Haven along with five grandchildren, Alani Gandossy, Nicholas Andreozzi Jr., Lisa Andreozzi, Mason Gandossy and Nicole Amendola. She is also survived by former daughter-in-law, Brenda Caldwell and former son-in-law, Nicholas Andreozzi Sr. Mary Lou is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert Gandossy (1988) and brother, Joseph Steiner.
Mary Lou was born and raised in East Haven. After graduating from East Haven High School she went to work at SNET until leaving to raise her family. In addition to supporting her husband and children, her extended family and friends have all been touched by her kindness and motherly ways. Always wearing a smile, Mary Lou was gentle, caring and shared her unconditional love with so many.

She loved Frank Sinatra, traveling, and gardening. She returned to work at SNET and later retired to spend time with her children and grandchildren. We all are fortunate to have known Mary Lou, an angel we will never forget.
Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 11 a.m. in St. Pio Pietrelcina Parish at the Church of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 80 Taylor Ave., East Haven CT with Committal to follow at East Lawn Cemetery, East Haven. Funeral services are under the care of the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), East Haven.
