Obituary: ​Michael “Mikey” Melillo, 32

Michael “Mikey” Melillo, 32, of Deerfield Beach, FL, died unexpectedly on Friday, October 26, 2018. He was born in New Haven on August 20, 1986 to Michael Melillo of Albuquerque, NM and Tina Marie Fiorentino of East Haven. He worked in the food service industry in a variety of positions for many years.

Mike excelled in several different sports, like Football, Soccer and Snow Skiing. He is a graduate of Guilford High School and was an avid Dallas Cowboy Fan. Besides his mother and father, he is survived by his brother, Jordan D. Melillo of Meriden, his grandmother Barbara Addis of East Haven and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends and Family may call from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm prior to the memorial services. A Memorial service will take place Sunday evening at 7 PM at the East Haven Memorial Longobardi – Brennan Funeral Home, 425 Main St., East Haven, 203-467-1708. Burial services will be private.
