Obituary: Nicholas G. “Nick” Tsialas 62, of East Haven
A talented and highly sought after mechanic, he took pride in being one of the top Chrysler mechanics in the U.S. for nearly 40 years.

Nicholas G. “Nick” Tsialas 62, of East Haven, passed away suddenly on February 21, 2023, at his home in East Haven. Nick was born on January 18, 1961 in Boston, MA to Elaine (Georgaklis) Tsialas of East Haven and the late Gregory Nicholas Tsialas. Loving father of Erica M Tsialas-Urbano (Justin) and Gregory N. Tsialas all of East Haven. Also survived by his 4 cherished grandchildren, Alyssa Aceto, Brendan, Peyton and Isabella Urbano, all of East Haven.
At the time of his death Nick was an auto mechanic for Branhaven Chrysler Jeep of Branford. Nick was an accomplished and talented mechanic who was highly sought after. He took pride in being one of the top mechanics for Chrysler in the USA for nearly 40 years. He also loved riding his motorcycle and participating in road rally fundraisers. He had a tough exterior, but a huge soft spot for the children in the family as well as his kitties.

He is survived by his sisters, Crystal Tsialas-Mauch of East Haven and Deborah Tsialas-Berner of Branford. Nieces Constance Sulpasso and her daughter, Emory of Cheshire; Heather Berner of Branford; Nephews Alexander Sulpasso (Karla Lindquist) and children Brita, Gunnar and Magnus Sulpasso of Guilford and Tristan Berner of North Haven.
Family and friends are invited to a parlor service in the PORTO FUNERAL HOME 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80) East Haven SATURDAY morning at 10:30. Interment will be private. Family and friends may call SATURDAY morning from 8:30 until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association www.alzfdn.org.
