Obituary: Pamela Amarone Follo, 89, of East Haven

Pamela Amarone Follo, 89, of East Haven beloved wife of Salvatore “Chick” Follo Jr. passed away peacefully on November 10, 2022 surrounded by her family in CT Hospice. Loving mother of Salvatore Follo III of East Haven, Marie (Robert) Follo-Lowe of North Branford and Joseph Follo of New Haven. Grandmother of Pamela (Jim) Badolato, Kristina (Craig) Bruce, and Rob and Christopher Lowe. Great grandmother of Jimmy, Mia, Matthew, Abigail, Reuben and Dante. Sister of Fannie Testa of Hamden and the late Antoinette Poleshek, Lucy Beletsky, Stella Muzzi, Madge Mondrone, Caroline and Carmel Amarone, Rae Doebrick, Millie Anastasio and Patsy, Benny, John, Andrew, Pat, Joe and Nick Amarone. Pamela is survived by many Follo and Amarone nieces and nephews. Pamela was born in New Haven on October 30, 1933 daughter of the late Andrew and Josephine Nazario Amarone.

Prior to her retirement, Pamela worked as a seamstress for Gant and Sero Shirtmakers.

Her funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80), East Haven WEDNESDAY morning at 11:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish in St. Vincent de Paul Church at 12:00. Interment will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery. Family and friends may call WEDNESDAY morning from 8:30 to 11:30.
