Obituary: Patricia Mattei Cimino, 76, of East Haven
Prior to her retirement Patricia worked in the cafeteria of several East Haven Schools and was known as the "Lunch Lady".

Patricia Mattei Cimino, 76 beloved wife of Anthony S. Cimino, Sr. of East Haven passed away December 3, 2018 in the St. Raphael Campus surrounded by her loving family. Loving mother of Steven (Eileen) Cimino of Branford, Anthony S. (Kathleen) Cimino, Jr. of Guilford, Alicia Cimino and companion Fred Crampton and Mark Cimino and companion Mollie Driscoll all of East Haven and Paul Cimino of Mystic. Caring grandmother of Steven John (Nicole) Cimino, Brandon, Francesca, Joel, Nicholas, Madelynn and Logan Cimino.
Patrcia was born in New Haven on May 4, 1942 a daughter of the late Amedio and Madeline Acampora Mattei. She was predeased by a sister Linda Catalano. Prior to her retirement Patricia worked in the cafeteria of several East Haven Schools and was known as the “Lunch Lady” for many years and also worked for Aramark Refreshments.

She was a volunteer at the Food Pantry and a communicant of Our Lady of Pompeii Church.
Her funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte 80) East Haven Friday morning at 10:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 11:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call THURSDAY from 4:00-8:00 PM.
