Obituary: Rhea Parillo, 71, of East Haven
Rhea loved to paint ceramics and did quilting and was also a passionate UCONN Husky and New York Yankee Fan.

Rhea Parillo, 71, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 5, 2018 at her home. She was the wife of the late Pasquale Parillo. Rhea was born in New Haven on November 30, 1946 to the late John E. and Jeanne Laflamme Kamienski. She worked for 30 years for MetLife Insurance Company as a Secretary until 1994. She then went back to school and in 1996 she was employed by the Gastroenterology Center where she did their Coding and Billing, until finally retiring in 2011.
Rhea loved to paint ceramics and did quilting and was also a passionate UCONN Husky and New York Yankee Fan. She is survived by a sister Denise Rapuano of Winsted, two brothers, Norman (Sherry) Kamienski of Hamden and Edmund (Judy) Kamienski of East Haven, a step-son, Pasquale (Lena) Parillo, Jr. of North Branford, three grandchildren, one great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Anthony Rapuano and a niece Jeanne Denise Rapuano Day.

Her funeral will leave the East Haven Memorial Longobardi-Brennan Funeral Home, 425 Main St., East Haven, 203-467-1708, Tuesday morning at 10:30 for a funeral mass at St. Augustine Church, North Branford at 11 am. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call prior to the mass Tuesday from 9 to 10:30.
