Obituary: Robert Henry, 87, of East Haven

Robert Henry, 87, of East Haven passed away peacefully December 29, 2022 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was the beloved husband of the late Carolyn Henry. Robert was born in East Haven on November 9, 1935 to the late Champlain and Mary Frances Henry.

He worked for many years as a trucking sales associate for Carolina Freight. Robert was an avid golfer who loved vacationing with his family, especially trips to Aruba with his wife Carolyn.

Robert is survived by his daughter Cheryl (Larry Jr.) Acquarulo of Lisbon, CT; sons Anthony (Peggy) of Griswold, and Robert Jr. of East Haven. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Adam Acquarulo (Matthew Hodges), Jillian (Jeffrey) Babcock, Anthony Henry, David (Jessica Sveen) Caskey and Nicole (Nicholas) Dickinson; and great-grandchildren Isahia Caskey, Amelia Caskey and Oliver Dickinson. He was predeceased by his brother Richard Henry.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit WEDNESDAY January 4, 2022 from 9:00am-11:00am at East Haven Memorial Funeral Home, 425 Main St. A Parlor services will begin at 11:00am, followed by burial at East Lawn Cemetery.
