Obituary: Robert Joyce, 69, of East Haven

Robert Joyce, 69, of East Haven beloved husband of Audrey Mills Joyce passed away on September 7, 2023 surrounded by his family at CT Hospice. Brother of Catherine Shea of Spring, TX; Jacqueline (Michael) Boucher of New Milford; Michael (Marilyn) Joyce of Guilford and the late Jeffrey Joyce. Loving godfather of Robin Bavin and Laura Boucher. Robert was born in Mount Vernon, NY on April 3, 1954 son of the late Michael and Loretta Abbott Joyce.

Prior to his retirement, Robert was a custodian at Melissa Jones Elementary School in Guilford for 35 years.

His funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80), East Haven TUESDAY morning at 10:30. A graveside service will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery at 11:00.
