Obituary: Robert “RJ” McLoughlin Jr. 49, of East Haven

Robert “RJ” McLoughlin Jr. 49, of East Haven passed away unexpectedly on May 16, 2022. He was born January 5, 1973 in New Haven to Robert J. Sr. and Maureen (Simowski) McLoughlin. Robert is survived by his loving parents, Robert and Maureen McLoughlin of East Haven, a sister, Kimberly McLoughlin of East Haven along with numerous aunts/uncles and cousins.

RJ was born with a “green thumb” and was always willing to share his talent with anyone he met. He especially loved animals and assisted any in need of his help. He was very kind and helped anyone in need. Robert will be sorely missed by all who loved him.

Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday May 23, 2022 at 11 A.M. in St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at the Church of St. Vincent de Paul, 80 Taylor Ave., East Haven with Committal to follow at All Saints Cemetery. All services are under the care of the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), East Haven.
