Robert S. DeFrancesco, 63, of East Haven passed away on May 21, 2025 surrounded by his family at Yale New Haven Hospital. Robert was born in New Haven on October 5, 1961 son of Robert L. and Phyllis Catardi DeFrancesco of East Haven. Brother of Nancy (Edward) Poleshek of East Haven, Catherine (Rich DePalma) Vergati of West Haven and Lawrence (Cheryl) DeFrancesco of North Branford. Uncle of Crystal (Rob) Laccitello, John Robert (Stephanie) Vergati, Michael (Julie) Vergati, and Matthew and Tyler DeFrancesco. Robert is survived by his little buddy, Caroline Poleshek, and lifelong friend, Dominic (Carlos) Stimma. Prior to his retirement, Robert was the regional manager for Starbucks Coffee Company.
