Obituary: ​Ronald Joseph Franco, 70, of East Haven

Ronald Joseph Franco of East Haven died on Friday November 17 at the Hospital of St. Raphael. He was the brother of Joseph Franco (wife Bernadette) of Branford and Susan Guillet (husband Adrian) of Branford. He is also survived by his longtime love Sue Streeto of East Haven, and her daughters Lisa and Carla. He is the father of Erica McGehee and Michelle Franco, both of Alabama.

He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and cousins. Ron was born in New Haven on October 5, 1947, a son of the late Joseph and Susan Faticone Franco.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked in construction for many years, and also worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Branford. A graveside service with military honors will be held on Friday November 24 at 11:00 at St. Agnes Cemetery in Branford. The W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St. Branford is in care of arrangements.
