Obituary: Roy J. Dulac, 88, of East Haven
A Korean War Army veteran, he worked as a mason for Yale for 30 years, was a sports memorabilia collector, and he loved the NY Yankees.

Roy J. Dulac, 88, of East Haven, passed away peacefully at his son’s home in North Haven on Monday, November 1, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He is the husband of Virginia Koenen Dulac. Roy was born in Knoxville, TN on April 13, 1933, to the late Raymond and Mayme Sue Bennett Dulac.
He worked as a Mason for Yale University for 30 years until retiring in 1990.
Roy proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Yale’s Local 34, loved to bowl and go on vacations, especially cruises. He was also an avid sports memorabilia collector and loved his beloved New York Yankees.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his son Michael J. (Karen) Dulac of North Haven a daughter, Jacqueline M. (Wayne) Camarro of Rocky Hill, six grandchildren, Michael K., Julie M. and Jamie M. Dulac and Samantha G., Harrison J. and Jacob Camarro, as well as five great grandchildren, Jayden, Olivia, Gino, Emary and Amelia.
There will be a mass of Christian Burial in the Parish of St. Pio of Peitrelcina at St. Vincent dePaul Church, Taylor Ave., on Saturday morning at 8 am. Burial of Ashes will take place at Beaverdale Cemetery, Hamden.
