He served in the U.S. Army, and, before retiring, Terry was a partner of Professional Painting and Orchard Painting.
Terrence D. “Terry” King, 85, of East Haven beloved husband of 63 years to Marcia Leonzo King passed away on July 16, 2023 at CT Hospice surrounded by his loving family. Father of Denise (Jim) Metcalf of Nottingham, NH; Terri Ann (Michael Karkos) King of Ansonia and Cheryl (Edward) Wajdowicz of East Haven. Grandfather of Lindsey (Matthew) Low, Kristen (James) Schuster, Stephen Metcalf, Austin Conklin, and Caroline and Michael Wajdowicz. Great-grandfather of Parker and Emerson Low and Hailey and Olivia Schuster. Brother of the late Betty Lou Ramadei, and Ronald and Paul King Jr. Terry was born in New Haven on September 12, 1937 son of the late Paul and Maude Evelyn DeForest King Sr.
He served in the U.S. Army. Prior to his retirement, Terry was a partner of Professional Painting and Orchard Painting. He was a 30-year member of the Wallingford Country Club.
