Old Rib House Restaurant Site to be Developed in East Haven
A new tenant has been identified for the former restaurant site. The restaurant moved to a new location already.

EAST HAVEN, CT – The old Rib House restaurant location at 190 Main Street is being converted into office space for a medical and dental clinic, according to minutes from the most recent Planning and Zoning Commission meeting.
The popular restaurant recently moved to its new location, closer to the center of town, at 190 Main Street, and the old location has been vacant for many months.

At the PZC meeting, zoners heard from architect John Torello that the old restaurant site is being looked at a possible location for a single-use tenant, possibly a dental office.
The prospective tenant plans to change the outside façade and make some other changes to the 3,600-square-foot complex.

The timing of the new office opening was not discussed at the zoning meeting.
