Patricia "Pat" Marie McCormick obituary: Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, East Haven

Patricia "Pat" Marie McCormick, 77, passed away on June 11, 2025 in Mt. Juliet Tennessee. She was the daughter of the late Alyce (McClure) and Lester V. McCormick Jr. Pat was predeceased by her brother, Michael and his wife Joyce and her beloved God-mother, Theresa Amendola McClure. Pat was a faithful and grateful friend of Bill W for over 50 years. She was happily employed by Yale University for 48 years, retiring in 2019. She is survived by her daughter, Andrea Moore McCormick of Santa Barbara, CA, her beloved God-son and nephew, Brandon McCormick (Ashley) and their two children, Luke and Lea of Mt. Juliet, TN, her very dear nephew, Shaun McCormick (Alexis) and their two children, Finn and Padraig of ­­­­Cape Coral, FL as well as her lifetime best friend, mentor and cousin-sister, Beverly McClure of New Haven. Pat always felt exceptionally blessed to have the family she had both in quality and quantity. She cherished all the joy and love they gave to her over her lifetime, especially Joyce McCormick Morris, Gerard McCormick, Nana and Pepe, Rose Grace and Arthur McClure.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday June 23, 2026 at 10 AM in the Blessed Michael McGivney Parish at the Church of St. Mary, 5 Hillhouse Ave., New Haven CT with burial to follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven. Please go directly to the church on Tuesday. All services are under the care of the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, East Haven.
