Paul Dalia 78 of East Haven passed away October 17, 2025 at CT Hospice. He was born July 28, 1947 in New Haven to Thomas and Lena (DeFilippo) Dalia. Paul is survived by his two children; Paula Dalia (Nicholas Speranza) of East Haven and Paul Dalia (Nicole Murawski) of South Carolina along with two grandchildren; Kelsey Lane and Michaella Raucci and three great grandchildren.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Cherry (Ramsey) Dalia and two siblings; Julia Lawrence and Carmen Dalia.

Paul was the kind of person who could light up a room just by walking in. He had a heartfull of kindness and a spirit that drew people in — always ready with a joke, a helping hand, or a warm smile. He loved fishing, hiking, his cat Minnie, working with his hands, and spending time with his family, who meant absolutely everything to him. Paul’s happiest moments were simple ones — sharing stories, laughing around the table, or tinkering in the garage.

He will be remembered not just for his hard work and generosity, but for the love and laughter he brought into every life he touched. His legacy lives on in his family, who will forever cherish his warmth, his wisdom, and his unwavering devotion.
