
Peter Rosati 83 of Clinton and Sabastian FL passed away May 12, 2025 at Yale New Haven Hospital with his family by his side. He was born January 28, 1942 in New Haven to John and Assunta Rosati. Peter is survived by his wife, Sharron Barry-Rosati and his two devoted children; Christopher Rosati of East Haven and Tracy Gamberdella (Jeffrey) of Branford along with four grandchildren; Christopher Rosati Jr., Giavana Rosati, Jeffrey A. Gamberdella and Ava Kathleen Gamberdella, his stepchildren, Sean Barry of Massachusetts and Rachael Lynch of Guilford, CT and her children Leah, Ryan and Ashley, and a brother Carlo Rosati of North Branford and his brother-in-law; Stanley Lipowski of North Haven CT and several nieces and nephews.
Peter is preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Kathleen (Lipowski) Rosati (2000).
Pete graduated from Wilber Cross High School in 1959 and at the age of 17 joined the Army National Guard serving in the 118th Medical Battalion, departing with the rank of Corporal. Upon returning home to CT he went to trade school for 4yrs while working full time in the sheet metal trade with Local 40 for 10 years. Upon retiring from the trade union, he went to work for the New Haven Fire Department. Retiring again after 30 years of service, he returned to the sheet metal trade as shop Steward and was elected Union Trustee and shop Steward for ARONA Sheet Metal in North Haven, CT.

Peter retired to Sebastian, FL in 2007 with his wife of 21 years, Sharron (Barry) Rosati where he enjoyed the sunshine; magnificent beaches; playing golf; dining out; taking cruises; playing cards; listening to country music and watching old Western movies. He was most proud of the accomplishments and achievements attained by all of his grandchildren. They were proud to call him "Papa."
Family will receive friends on Friday May 16, 2025 from 9 AM until the time of service at 12 PM (NOON) in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven with burial to follow at All Saints Cemetery in North Haven. Donation may be made to Tunnel for Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island NY 10306 or St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TV 38105-9959 in memory of Peter Rosati.
