Plans Stall for Senior Housing at Former School Site

Plans to renovate the former East Haven High School building on Tyler Street as part of a senior housing complex have stalled for now, reports the New Haven Register.

Town officials tell the Register’s Esteban L. Hernandez that they couldn’t come to an agreement with a vendor, and now there are no definitive plans for the former high school building.

Some residents who oppose the town’s plans for senior housing say they’d like the former school site to be used for community purposes.
