EAST HAVEN, CT — In a recent interview with Patch where East Haven Mayor Joseph A. Carfora looked back at 2022 accomplishments, he noted that an important promise to the community, delayed by the pandemic, would soon be coming to fruition.

"Last year, we announced that our town parks were all in need of some care, and we ordered new playground equipment for many areas," he noted in a Facebook post.

Now, he said, playground equipment long-ago ordered has "finally started to ship, arrive and, get installed."
