Police Looking For Walgreens Armed Robbery Suspect

Sunday night, he walks into the Main Street Walgreens, pulls a gun on an employee, demands cash and then calmly walks out. Do you know him?

EAST HAVEN, CT — Police are looking for the man who committed a brazen armed robbery at Walgreens Sunday night.

According to East Haven Police Lt. Joseph Murgo, at around 9 p.m. on Mother's Day, cops responded to a call of an armed robbery at the Main Street Walgreens.

Police said that the victim reported the suspect as a black male. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, flat-brimmed hat, surgical mask, jeans and sneakers came into the store and walked directly to the rear security room and knocked on the door. He can be seen on store surveillance video pointing a silver and black handgun at the employee while demanding that she fill his backpack with cash. He then tries to get into a locked safe but fails.

And then he calmly, police said, leaves the store and takes off in an unknown vehicle.
