Police Officers Promoted, New Recruits Sworn In

EAST HAVEN, CT —Several police officers were promoted and four new officers were sworn in.

"Congratulations to Deputy Chief Patrick Tracy, Lieutenant Stephen Paulson, Sergeants John Finnimore, Joseph Finoia, Robert S. Brockett Jr. and Officers James Hoye, Julio Gil-Martinez, Brandon Depalma, and Sean Halligan who were all sworn in at tonight’s Promotion and Oath of Office Ceremony.

Officers Halligan, Depalma and Gil Martinez have a lot of work to do at the police academy before joining us this summer. Good luck recruits!

Deputy Chief Patrick Tracy ended the ceremony echoing the words of Nelson Mandela, and it could not have been said any better.
