UPDATE: Police Say Middle-Aged Woman Robbed Citizens Bank
Police say a middle-aged white woman robbed the Citizens Bank on Foxon Road wearing a Yale jacket, Bulls cap and red wig. She fled on foot.
EAST HAVEN, CT — East Haven Police are looking for a middle-aged woman wearing a red wig under a Chicago Bulls baseball cap who is alleged to have robbed a Citizens Bank. Police did not say how much she got away with. She did not show tellers a gun.
At around 1:30 p.m., East Haven police were called to the bank at 430 Foxon Road. Police were told the woman, described as white and around 50 years old wearing a jacket with Yale emblazoned on it, came into the bank from the North High Street area. She is alleged to have "demanded money from one of the teller’s stations. "
Cops said she took off on foot in an "unknown direction." East Haven detectives are working the case, police said.
