Recreating What Recreation Means With New, Fun Virtual Programs
With East Haven summer rec programs canceled, there are fun virtual art classes, adult yoga, youth dance, guitar lessons, tennis and trivia.
EAST HAVEN, CT —While in-person programs have been postponed, Mayor Joseph Carfora and Recreation Director, Lou Pane announced today the Town of East Haven Parks and Recreation Department will offer a new way to stay engaged – virtual recreation programs.
The department's new initiative, offers opportunities for the community to stay connected to programs, activities, classes, parks and more during this unprecedented time.
New virtual recreation programs, such as art classes, adult yoga sessions, youth dance, educational opportunities and more are available through online platforms.
