Schools Have 67 Cases, 14 New This Week With 117 In Quarantine
In this week alone, seven students and seven educators tested positive for coronavirus and at Ferrara Elementary, 54 are in quarantine.
EAST HAVEN, CT — It was predicted.
Health officials had cautioned that in the days and weeks after Thanksgiving, case numbers would spike.
And though the schools and East Shore District Health continue to say all cases in schools are actually from community spread, in particular from gatherings, nonetheless, this week alone, seven students and seven teachers tested positive for COVID-19.

Three schools have been particularly hard-hit: East Haven High School, and Ferrara and Momauguin elementary schools.
There are a total of 67 confirmed cases since the begging of the school year. Currently, there are 117 kids and teachers in quarantine in their homes working remotely.
