Shots Fired In East Haven, No Gunshot Victims Located: Police
Authorities ask that anyone in the vicinity of Coe Ave., between Williams and Silver Sands who have Ring camera video to call police.
EAST HAVEN, CT —Shots were fired from a vehicle on Coe Avenue between Williams and Silver Sands in East Haven Tuesday morning, police said.
No injuries were reported.
East Haven police closed Coe Avenue for a brief period of time as officers responded to the scene.

East Haven police Capt. Joseph M. Murgo told Patch that while there does not appear to be a gunshot victim, the "scene is still active and under investigation."
Police found, through video surveillance, that a dark-colored SUV was traveling south bound on Coe Avenue when the driver spotted a pedestrian walking south bound in the north bound lane, he said. The SUV turned around on Coe, and drove north towards the pedestrian, and fired a shot toward them. The person ran and the SUV took off.

The pedestrian was not injured, Murgo said.
