UPDATE: Silver Alert For Missing 1-Year-Old Baby Canceled

Police said Aliya Eldridge of East Haven was last seen with her father July 24. She was found safe out-of-state Monday and is with family.

EAST HAVEN, CT — The state police Silver Alert for a 1-year-old baby missing from East Haven since July 24 has been canceled.

East Haven Police Capt. Joseph Murgo said that Aliya Eldridge, 13-months-old, was located safe out-of-state Monday and is with family.

The baby was believed to be with biological father, Matthew Eldridge, in a 2007 gray Dodge Durango with Connecticut license plate number AX12231. Aliya was last seen wearing a pink tank top and denim shorts. She's approximately 30 inches long and weighs 21 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. Murgo asked the "public to keep an eye out for Aliya or the vehicle she is traveling in and to call 911 if they spot them."
