Alright everyone spring is arriving in a few days! I know the snow is still on the ground but its time to start to plan your gardens! What are your plans for this year? I love this time of the year because it gives the whole planning part so much more fun!
Some helpful tips
- If you are planning a vegetable garden head to your local nursery and get those seeds and early seed starter beds! Now is the time to start to seed those early plants such as beans, spinach and lettuce. Some of my favorites.
- Grind up all of those leaves and get a mulch pile to spread natural fertilizer in the garden.
- In a few weeks start to till the soil, turn it over a few times to prep the seedlings to be placed into the ground.
Tomorrow: What to do with all of those pesky leaves. Grind them up or give them to the dump?
