Summer Is Right Around The Bend, Plan Now For Summer Day Camp At Camp Hays

EAST HAVEN, CT —The town, in partnership with Soundview Family YMCA, is offering East Haven residents access to Camp Hays.

The town subsidizes a portion of the cost, making this "incredible summer camp experience more affordable for East Haven families," according to a news release from the town.

Located at Hays School, 1 Maple St., in East Haven, Camp Hays is "fully equipped to support youth programs, providing a safe, structured, and fun environment for campers all summer long."

Camp Hays is for kids ages three to 15. At Camp Hays, the camp experience includes fun activities and games that "encourage children to develop new skills and try new things."

Campers engaged, busy, and active, the Y notes. This summer, campers will enjoy participating in favorites like Gaga, arts & crafts, archery, sports, and nature. Camp Hays celebrates with a new theme each week on Wacky Wednesday.

The Y works with children of all abilities. If your child requires special accommodations, ie., social, behavioral, or medical, please contact the Camp Director.

Enrolled kids also get YMCA membership access while in camp.

The town noted that "spots are limited and filling fast," so be an early bird on this one.
