Tattooed Burglar Breaks Into Church, Steals Daycare Cash: Police

EAST HAVEN, CT — A man broke into the Old Stone Church and stole cash from the church's daycare center, police said.

According to East Haven Police Capt. Joseph Murgo, sometime Sunday night, a "white male with distinct tattoos on both inner forearms" broke into the Main Street church by taking out a window air conditioner. Murgo said the man "proceeded to steal cash" and then took off on foot.
