EAST HAVEN, CT — At a special meeting Tuesday night, the Town Council approved a bonding authorization for $6.95 million in public improvements, the New Haven Register reports.
The vote was on an ordinance that appropriates funding for various public improvements for the 2019-2020 capital budget and authorized the issuance of bonds of the town to cover the projects costs.
In addition to other projects, the unanimous vote blessed $1 million to put in a new football field and track at East Haven High School.
