The Town of East Haven has had generally low numbers of Covid-19 cases through-out the summer similar to other towns across the state. However, we have seen an uptick in our COVID-19 cases last month. The East Shore District Health Department, East Haven School System and the Town of East Haven are working together to continue to keep residents safe and slow the spread of the virus and ensure that any positive cases of Covid-19 are isolated and any significant contacts are placed into quarantined. A key component of keeping our residents safe during this pandemic is through contact tracing, and we ask all residents to please cooperate if they are asked to quarantine for 14 days.

Mayor Carfora reminds all residents to please do their part - social distance and wear their face coverings as they are crucial in helping to reduce the spread of the virus and limit the number of people who are infected in the East Haven Community.
