Trolley Museum Holds Vintage Streetcar-Era Parade Saturday
Experience the "golden age of transportation" at the Shore Line Trolley Museum's annual 'Museum In Motion' event from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

EAST HAVEN, CT — Experience the golden age of transportation as trolley cars from the turn of the last century parade by Saturday in the Shore Line Trolley Museum's annual 'Museum In Motion' event.
From 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., people can witness the “work horses” of the U.S. streetcar-era including the "awe-inspiring power "of vintage subway equipment, antique repair, emergency and snow plows as well as some trolley cars not seen by the public in motion, rumble past.
The event provides all-day photo opportunities and a rail art-in-motion parade, which begins at 1 p.m. The parade will include a short narration on each vehicle and is certain to please history buffs, photographers, and rail fans young and old.

Food will be available for purchase from D&S Hot Dogs and Catering and Sully’s Good Humor Truck. Face-painting and live Bluegrass music will help make this a great summer all-day event.
