Friends and neighbors, you may have noticed a peculiar - or familiar - yellow plastic bag on your door 2 Saturdays ago - you may have read it, filled it, and placed it back on your stoop for pick up this past Saturday - if you did - YOU took part in the collection & delivery of OVER 1,000 POUNDS OF FOOD to the Connecticut Food Bank on Bradley Street in East Haven and we thank you!
The mission of the Connecticut Food Bank is to provide nutritious food to people in need. If you'd like more information on how to volunteer/donate or if you're in need of food, please visit them online http://www.ctfoodbank.org/
The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. Part of our Scout Oath is "To help other people at all times".
