Twin Pines Diner Gives Free Easter Meals For Veterans, Seniors, Folks In Need
On Easter Sunday, free take-out dinners are available through the generosity of Twin Pines Diner, attorney Andrew Amendola, and sponsors.

EAST HAVEN, CT — On Easter Sunday, Twin Pines Diner once again partners with local attorney Andrew Amendola and generous community sponsors to provide free take-out Easter dinners to East Haven military veterans, seniors, and residents in need.
Now in its sixth year, the Easter dinner program allows those in need to enjoy a holiday meal thanks to the generosity of Twin Pines owner Jim Triantis, Amendola, and other local donors, the town noted in a news release.
This year’s effort also includes the delivery of over 200 Easter baskets to local children in need, distributed through East Haven Public Schools, Saint Pio’s Church, and the Community Dining Room.

"Because there’s a need—and because I can," Amendola raised $8,000 for this year’s effort. "To whom much is given, much is expected."
In total, this marks the 14th holiday meal program organized by Amendola and Triantis since 2020, which includes similar Thanksgiving and Christmas efforts in both East Haven and Branford.
