'Volunteers In The Community:' East Haven Star Student

EAST HAVEN, CT — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

This submission comes from Alexis, who nominated Peter, a family member and sophomore at Quinnipiac University of East Haven.

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?

He has made the dean list. He volunteers in his community. He gets great grades. He goes to school full-time. He works at Lenny’s and commutes to his music studio in the city on all his spare time (he also does background print work commercials and background on television) his most recent one will be out in March on Disney+

He made an appearance on the blacklist and has tons of original music on all music platforms

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?

Peter is such a humble, talented young man
