Want to Be A Part Of Town Government Where Your Voice Is Heard?
Volunteer committee seats are open on nearly a dozen important East Haven town boards and committees including health, housing and zoning.

EAST HAVEN, CT — Residents often have their own good ideas about how their local government should work. Concerned about blight? Want to have a voice in local health care decisions? On housing? What about zoning? Or preserving historical landmarks?
The East Haven Town Council is asking for volunteers to fill open positions on the American
Disabilities Act Commission, the Blight Appeals Committee, the Board of Assessment Appeals
Committee, the Board of Ethics, East Shore Health District representatives, the Housing Authority, the Old Cemetery Board, the School Building Committee, the Board of Selectmen, Urban Renewal Commission, and the Zoning Board of Appeals.
The only qualification to apply for a seat on one of these boards is to be an East Haven resident and registered voter.
