Water Co. Crew Working In Old Foxon Rd. Area, Making Emergency Valve Repairs, May Affect 100s Of Homes

EAST HAVEN, CT — A Regional Water Authority crew working in the area of Old Foxon Road "encountered unforeseen field conditions requiring emergency repairs," the town announced.

Workers must repair a gate valve, and it's expected that could impact service to around 360 customers.

Customers in this area could experience temporarily reduced water pressure, or no water pressure, while this work is underway.

Residents of the following streets may be affected:

Ann St., Brennan Street, Cross Street, Diaz Street, Florence Street, Foxon Boulevard, Gabriel Street, Gene Street, Genesee Street, Griswold Street, Humbert Street, Joffre Street, John Street, Lucy Street, Melillo Circle, Michael Street, Old Foxon Road, Paul Street, Pershing Street, Pinehurst Drive, Rose Street, Russo Avenue, Savoy Street, and Taft Street.

According to the town, RWA will send notification to customers in the affected area via the Code Red system.
