Key to Awesomeness: Kevin, whose parents were born in Vietnam, speaks four languages fluently: English, Vietnamese, Cantonese and Korean. “Foreign languages fascinate me,” said Kevin, who was born in the United States.
Quotes: “Kevin is one of those kids who always steps up to the plate and goes over and beyond,” said Dan Schmidt, who directed the East Haven Drama Club’s production of The Wiz, of which Kevin played four roles in. “He is one very talented and easygoing kid who is just so likeable with so much enthusiasm for everything he does.”
Future plans: Attend UCLA or MIT for undergraduate school, double majoring in chemical and mechanical engineering, eventually earning a doctorate in the field. Kevin plans like to spend his summers abroad in South Korea, and outside of an engineering career, Kevin wants to pursue filmmaking.
Kevin’s motto: “Quit complainin’, just do it.”
