Work on Maturo's Driveway Apron was Routine: Report

EAST HAVEN, CT - On April 28, Mayor Joseph Maturo Jr.'s driveway apron was repaired by the town after being damaged by Public Works crews this winter as they tried to clear ice near the mayor's personal driveway, the New Haven Register reports.

But a top legislative aide in Maturo's office told the New Haven Register that no work was done to Maturo's personal driveway and the repair work is routine.

In the winter, Maturo's driveway apron was damaged as Public Works crews were removing ice near his driveway so he could get to Town Hall, and a repair was made.

Officials in the mayor's office noted that repairs were also made to other resident's driveway aprons that were damaged similarly.
