You've Never Seen A 'Save The Date' Like This One

Marc and Christina have been together for 8 years, engaged for 3. They set a date: June 2020. But coronavirus happened. Come on, July 2021!

EAST HAVEN, CT — They've been a couple for more than eight years, and engaged for more than three. They were ready and so set the date: June 27, 2020.

Then, coronavirus happened. But being young and in love they've taken it, if not stride, at least with a beautiful sense of humor.

This couple re-did their 'save-the-date' photos to reflect the reason why they need to postpone their wedding. They set the whole thing up, props and all, and did the shoot themselves in their backyard.

On Instagram, Marc wrote: "In light of the current circumstances we decided to do a coronavirus themed save the date photo shoot. Yes, I know, brilliant . We will be sending these out sometime next week. Last week was rough but everything worked out for the best. We are just as excited as we were before to get married at Anthony’s Ocean View. We know that it will be the most epic wedding anyone has ever attended haha. 7-17-21 couldn’t come fast enough. I can't wait to marry my best friend and love of my life. Tough times don’t last, tough people do. We pull through as a couple, a power team, a force to be reckoned with! Haha. To my gorgeous fiancé, I love you more than life itself and I couldn’t be happier to have you by my side. I will fight for us till the day I die"

They met at a mutual friend's party eight years ago: "Like any relationship we’ve had our ups and downs. We were young when we met so there was a lot of growing for the both of us," Marc told Patch.

What's another year for this couple? And we have a feeling a lot of those wedding toasts will be done with Coronas.
