Relive Connecticut's AUTO RACING HISTORY with the Horseless Carriage Club of America (HCCA) and the Vintage Sports Car Club of America (VSCCA) as we tip our hats to the early autoneers who risked their lives racing up Sport Hill Rd. in Easton over 120 years ago!
Come see over 40 cars ranging in age from 1900 to 1957, as well as some select vintage sports / racing cars from the 60s and 70s. On hand for display and a full race demonstration will be a 1908 Locomobile Race Car, made right in Bridgeport, CT. Also on hand will be several very rare pre-1916 brass era cars with drivers who will give it their best to entice these (large for back then) 50-100hp cars up the hill for a series of three starting line demonstrations as they take off and race up Morehouse Rd. from the library.
Other clubs welcomed and on hand are the Model A club of America and the CT Seaport Car Club.
