2 Stalking Charges In 10 Days For Ellington Man

A 20-year-old from Ellington has been arrested twice in 10 days for stalking at the local Subway.

ELLINGTON, CT — A 20-year-old from Ellington has been arrested twice in 10 days for stalking at the local Subway.

He is a former employee, according to reports.

According to state police reports, Benjamin Ramsdell showed up at the Subway, 175 West Road, on Nov. 21 and again on Nov. 30 after being warned by management and state troopers not to.

For the Nov. 21 arrest, he was charged with second-degree criminal trespass and second-degree stalking.

For the Nov. 30 incident, he was charged with those two offenses plus second-degree breach of peace.

He is due in Court on Dec. 4 and Dec. 12 in the respective cases and posted bonds of $5,000 for each set of charges, records show.
