2-Vehicle Crash Snags Traffic on Route 140 in Ellington

ELLINGTON, CT — Traffic is reduced to one lane on a portion of Route 140 near Crystal Lake in Ellington in mid-afternoon Tuesday following a 2-vehicle crash.

One of the vehicles wound up in a ditch at the junction of Crystal Lake Road and Burbank Road. Occupants from both vehicles were being checked on by police and ambulance attendants at roadside, with fire personnel also at the scene.
