5K Race At Ellington Airport To Support Connecticut ALS Association
Run the Runway Race in memory of Tom Dore features prizes, raffles, food and more. Race takes place at Ellington Airport. Register today.
Tom Dore’s Run the Runway 5K Race will take place Friday, June 17th from 6-9pm at the Ellington Airport, 360 Somers Rd. Ellington.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the CT ALS Association with 100% of the proceeds donated in the name of Tom Dore. Tom, an avid runner and skydiver, passed away from ALS in 2017.
Connecticut Parachutist Inc. will be open at 12:00pm on June 17th and will be operating until race time. Everyone is encouraged to come out early to picnic, hike, make a tandem skydive or observe jump demonstrations.

Pre-race day registration is encouraged and can be done online via this link. Same-day registration begins at 4 pm at the airport.
All runners can enjoy free refreshments after the race and a chance to win raffle prizes.
