Absentee Ballots For Upcoming Primaries Available In Somers

SOMERS, CT — Absentee ballots are available at the Somers Town Clerk’s Office for the upcoming primaries on Tuesday, Aug. 9. Only registered Democratic and Republican electors are eligible to vote in the primary.

To obtain an absentee ballot, a registered voter must complete an application. Applications are available at the town clerk’s office, registrar of voters office or printed from the Secretary of the State’s website at CT Absentee Ballot Application. Once the completed application is received and verified by the town clerk’s office, a ballot will be mailed or issued.

Completed applications may be returned in person, or mailed to Somers Town Hall, 600 Main Street, Somers, CT 06071-2119. The original signed application must be returned to the town clerk’s office prior to the close of business on Monday, Aug. 8.
