ELLINGTON, CT — Ellington Human Services is asking residents to help restock the shelves at the Ellington Food Pantry through an ongoing community food drive.
The Ellington Human Services Commission is hosting the drive, with donations accepted through Wednesday, July 15. Officials said the effort will help support Ellington residents experiencing food insecurity.
Drop-off locations include Hall Memorial Library, Ellington Human Services at 31 Arbor Way and the Ellington Senior Center.
Additional drop-off sites include Luann’s Bakery, Cooley’s Kitchen, Ellington Dunkin Donuts, Ellington YMCA, Agway, Anytime Fitness, Baby Bee’s Play & Learn, Little Scribbles Childcare & Learning Center, Bright Path Ellington Child Care and Scotty’s Kiddy Corner Preschool & Daycare.
“A big thank you to the Human Services Commission members for organizing this food drive and to everyone who has donated so far,” Ellington Human Services said in a post.
